Autism Testing
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by difficulties with social communication and interaction, difficulties with social reciprocity, and restrictive and repetitive behavior. It can occur with or without language impairment, with or without intellectual impairment, and is categorized by level of support.
Testing
We specialize in comprehensive autism evaluations for individuals of all ages, with a particular focus on adults. Whether you're seeking greater self-understanding, clarity, or support, our goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based assessments in a respectful and affirming environment. We look forward to supporting you on your journey.
Interventions
We do not offer ABA therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, or physical therapy at Cura, but we can refer you to community partners once you/your child receives an ASD diagnosis. For our adults, we can refer you to adult support groups, and also assist with disability determinations.
Continued Monitoring
It is generally recommended for a re-evaluation every 1-3 years following an ASD diagnosis.
